Most all our rides are now Private, however from time to time their may be multiple passengers. Please be courteous to the other riders.
Do I need a reservation to ride the shuttle?
No, reservations are not required, however are helpful in timing, however it is important to note that a reservation is the only way to confirm your seat. If you need a round trip reservation, please make your reservation on-line or call the office, if needed, between 8am-5pm Monday through Friday for assistance.
How do I make a reservation for the shuttle/Taxi?
You can reserve online as well as by phone if it is last minute. We can book them round trip via our cell phones.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation up to 9 months in advance.
What is the Refund Policy?
Fares are refundable (minus a $10 processing fee per person) if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to departure time. There are no refunds for cancellations made in less than 48 hours to departure time, as it blocks seats for other passengers.
What methods of payment are acceptable?
You can pay either with a credit/debit card and Pay Pal on-line or by phone at (662) 771-4222.
Are your vans equipped with cameras?
Yes, audio and video cameras are installed in each of our vans. Cameras are to protect our customers as well as our employees.
Can you pick up at my residence?
Friendly City Express will pick up at residences’ and public establishments within the city limits of Columbus, Mississippi. Pick up will take place before regular scheduled departures, and drop offs after scheduled arrivals, for a fee of $20.00 one way.
Can you pick me up/drop me off somewhere different than your scheduled locations?
Call us for special pickup options. Friendly City Express reserves the right to refuse pick up and drop off locations at driver’s discretion.
Do drivers accept gratuity?
Yes. Although gratuity is not expected, our drivers will kindly accept your tip as appreciation of professional and friendly service.
Do you take pets?
Service animals will be allowed on our shuttle providing there is proper documentation. Dogs and cats can be transported in an approved carrier for a fee of $20 per carrier.
What if I arrived at the Golden Triangle Regional Airport and need a ride, but I don’t have a reservation?
Give us a call or approach our van if you see it to find out if there is room!
How much luggage can I bring?
Friendly City Express allows 2 pieces of luggage per passenger as part of your trip. Extra bags are $10.00 per bag. If you have extra-large or odd shaped luggage, please contact us so we can assure accommodation.
Are your vans handicapped accessible?
Although we currently do not offer lifts, each Friendly City Express vehicle offers a step stool and specially equipped handles to assist you. And, as always, wheelchairs and walkers ride free.
How old must my child be to ride alone?
We will transport children 15 years of age and older providing a waiver is completed by the Childs guardian(s).
Is a car seat required for my child(ren)?
Friendly City Express does not provide child safety seats. Mississippi state law requires children ages 7 years and younger and under 4’9’’ to ride in a federally approved child safety seat. For further information, please go to www.msdh.ms.gov
